Not to be confused with the deep MV Xlendi wreck, the reef and tunnel at Xlendi Bay is a shallow, easy site — a short tunnel through the rock and a gentle reef of boulders and seagrass. Sheltered and accessible from shore, it's a good training site and a relaxed dive, with the pretty fishing village of Xlendi waiting for you afterwards.
Good news: this site is well within reach of recreational and advanced recreational divers — no technical certification needed to enjoy it. Come and dive it with me, and when you’re ready to push deeper into Malta’s technical sites, here’s where to head next:
