The SS Luciston is a deep cargo steamer lying at around 95–105m off Malta — well into hypoxic trimix and CCR territory. As an Advanced Trimix and rebreather objective she sees few visitors, which is part of the appeal: a substantial, atmospheric deep wreck for properly qualified, experienced technical divers.
The diving here suits divers at Advanced Trimix / CCR level. This one sits beyond the 100m limit of open-circuit diving — it's CCR and dedicated exploration territory. If you’re not there yet, these are the courses that get you there:
