San Dimitri Point

One of the dive sites we run here in Malta — here's the story behind it, the depth and access, and what it takes to dive it properly.

The Site

Out on Gozo's remote western tip, San Dimitri Point — home to the well-known Crocodile Rock formation — is a proper wall-and-boulder dive in clear, deep water. It's more exposed than the sheltered sites, often with a bit of current, and that's the draw: better visibility and a real chance of bigger fish out in the blue. A boat dive with an away-from-it-all feel.
