Reqqa Point

One of the dive sites we run here in Malta — here's the story behind it, the depth and access, and what it takes to dive it properly.

The Site

Reqqa Point on Gozo's north coast is a sheer wall dropping into the blue, and one of the island's signature dives. The headline feature is a small cave at around 18m that often holds a dense ball of fish, while the wall itself is draped in life — groupers, moray eels and big shoals working the drop-off.

There can be current, which keeps things lively. Shallow enough along the top for everyone, deep enough off the wall for technical divers to extend.
