Qawra Point North

One of the dive sites we run here in Malta — here's the story behind it, the depth and access, and what it takes to dive it properly.

The Site

Qawra Point juts out on Malta's north-east coast, and the diving here follows a reef and drop-off out into deeper water. There's good life along the edge, the HMD Trusty Star wreck sits nearby for those who want to combine the two, and the point's exposure means it can serve up better visibility and the occasional bigger fish.
