Billinghurst Cave, on Gozo's north coast near Reqqa, is a long, dark cavern penetration running well back into the rock — an advanced, properly overhead dive for trained cave and cavern divers with the right kit and lights. Inside it's pitch black and atmospheric, the walls near the entrance lined with delicate growth. Not a casual dive, but a memorable one for those equipped and qualified for it.
